For 34 years our event has been part of the story of Edmonton. The Servus Edmonton Marathon is more than a race; it's a vibrant celebration of community, athleticism, social connections and resilience. Known as "The Friendly Marathon," it embodies the welcoming and inclusive spirit of Edmonton. As non profit organizers we love this event as it celebrates Edmontonians and welcomes thousands to our community so we are sure you will love it too.
The Canadian Half Marathon Championships Have Come To Edmonton!
The beauty of the sport of running is you can line up with Canada's best. As part of the Healthcare Solutions Half Marathon the fastest and best will race the streets of Edmonton infront of over 15,000 spectators. Over $20,000.00 in prize money and the honour of being a National champion are on the line.
Treaty 6 Land Acknowledgement
We respectfully acknowledge that the Servus Edmonton Marathon takes place on the traditional land of Treaty 6 Territory. This land is the ancestral and present home of many Indigenous Peoples, including the Cree, Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Iroquois, Dene, Ojibway/Saulteaux/Anishinaabe, and Inuit. We recognize the Indigenous peoples that ran, gathered and played on these lands. We recognize these nations' deep histories, languages, and cultures and their ongoing connection to this land.
