Decreasing Barriers to Participation for Youth.
Youth Pricing (Under 18) of $20.00 in the 5km, and 10km. In the Half Marathon, you must be 16 years of age to run; youth pricing for ages 16 – 18 years in the Half Marathon.
We believe that being connected to positive community building and healthy active events such as the Servus Marathon and Festival of Events is important for a young person’s sense of belonging and overall well-being.
We hope that by decreasing barriers to participation it supports a first time experience for youth that will support a path of physical activity and wellness. We are thankful to our charity partners, Ever Active Schools and KidSport Edmonton, for helping with the messaging and reach of this initiative.
