The 2025-26 Servus Edmonton Marathon is proud to have been awarded the 2025-26 Canadian Half Marathon Championships.

The beauty of the sport of running is you can line up with Canada's best. As part of the Healthcare Solutions Half Marathon the fastest and best will race the streets of Edmonton infront of over 15,000 spectators. Over $20,000.00 in prize money and the honour of being a National champion are on the line.
Canadian Half Marathon Championships Prize Money
*Athletes with a Canadian citizenship can win the Canadian Half Marathon Championship prize money in addition to the Healthcare Solutions Half Marathon. Athletes must be a member of their provincial/territorial athletics body.
**Age group categories will not be awarded in the Half Marathon Championship category, only overall placing for men and women will be awarded.

The Canadian National Half-Marathon Championships will be a designated World Athletics (WA) Category B event.

The race is committed to obtaining an international course measurement certificate prior to the race day which, is a requirement of hosting a Canadian Championship.

The race will be submitting the International Course Measurement Certificate to WA, to be completed early June 2025.

The results from the Canadian National Half-Marathon Championships will recognized by both AC and WA for both rankings and records purposes.
